Help me housebreak my Great Dane?
I just adopted a Great Dane (Gigi) a few days ago and she's already a year old. When we had asked about her outside schedule, she told us that she didn't know because she had a doggy door so Gigi went out when she wanted. When I take her out and she uses it, I do praise her. But the first night she used it a few times in the house then the next day I took her out maybe 4 times and she used it fine. But this morning she peed in the bed. So please help and give me some pointers! I guess I don't know how to handle it because she's not a puppy.
You'll have to develop a schedule with her. Feed her at certain times, wait a few minutes and then take her outside. Wait until she uses the bathroom (find shade if it's hot) and praise her when she does.
You'll have to do this several times a day until she gets the idea.

No I want nothing to happen to her. and I do not want her bread at all. so tell me what you think. She is full of blue-blooded Great Dane Black mom dad. 135 pounds last vet visit.
