Do certain Boston Terriers have tails?
I have had a boston for 2 1/2 years. He is my baby. The poor thing dosent have a tail! Was his tail cut off? My boxer has a bigger tail!
I do believe he is a pure bred. He is much longer than stubbier bostons, but I saw both his parents and they were both tall like him. His face is also completely black except for a crest across his forehead. He is not recognized from the AKC despite that he is the cutest thing ever created. Anyways I have noticed a few times lately when I come home he is so excited his "nub" is shaking like mad. Is there a tail inside? His vet says he is fine. Looking for more answers...Thanks! 
Boston terriers are properly born with short, tapering straight or crooked tails. Sometimes there is very little tail when they are born..They are not to be docked, so it isn't likely man's interference, but just the way he was born.
