What to do if reason to belive the wrong breed of AKC puppy was sold ?
We have reason to belive we were sold the wrong breed of dog other than what we requsted and bought from a registered AKC breeder. What are some suggestions that could be done about this?
Well, take it to someone like your vet that can tell what breed it is, then call the breeder and ask. What does the dog's pedigree say? You can also contact the AKC and ask about the breeder, and share your concerns with them.
I'm interested in knowing what breed you thought you bought, and what breed you think you actually have. Keep in mind, a poorly bred dog, even if AKC registered, can look very different from the "standard" type of that breed.
