Akc Dog Breeders In Missouri Q&A

Pomeranian Question?

So, I got my dog three years ago almost to the day and I got him from a breeder in Missouri at the time I was young and didn't ask alot of questions. I was told he was a pure bred pomeranian but a little larger. I paid $400.00 for him when I picked him up. Got his AkC papers and he is registered. I always have had a suspision that he is not pure bred. He has some of the characteristics of one i.e. curled tail, fluffy coat but that is where the similarities end. He has a pointy nose, has a low bark and is 20 pounds!! He has recently run into medical issues and I really need to know his breed. I have approached the breeder in years past begging to know his true breed, she insists he is pom. I am pissed at this woman for lying to me and do not know how to convince her to tell me. Bottom line I love my dog no matter what he is, but I have a right to know and need to what do I do. Thank you so much!

Pomerania question?

Therefore, I have my dog three years ago, almost to the day and I have a breeder in Missouri at that time I was young and did not ask many questions. I was told it was a purebred pomeranian but slightly larger. I paid $ 400.00 for him when he picked it up. Do you have his papers and is AKC registered. Have always had a suspision it is not purebred. He has some of the characteristics of one, that is curly tail, the spongy layer, but that's where the similarities end. Has a pointy nose, has a lower crust and 20 pounds! He has recently run into medical issues and really need to know your race. I went to the breeder in the past years asking to know his true race, she insists it's pom. I am angry with this woman for lying to me and I can not convince her to tell me. Briefly I love my dog, no matter what it is, but I have a right to know and what I need. Thank you!
