Should I tell the owner her AKC dog isn't a purebred?
The size, hair texture and head shape of this dog are all wrong for a Bichon frise. The dog may be part Bichon but I think there is some terrier and maybe poodle in it, too. She didn't buy it from a reputable breeder.
Why?
Is she going to love the dog less?
Is the dog going to suffer for her ignorance?
Probably not. Leave it be.
Who cares if she calls it a Bichon Frise or a Banana Eating Goony Bird. It's her dog and she loves him.

i live in New Jersey, and looking to buy a Papillion puppy and am willing to pay, ask if you know of an agent. Dealer
