Calgary, Alberta: are we Calgarians intolerant of other races?
I have read several comments on this site that state Calgarians are known for being intolerant of different races.
I have lived here all my life, and I find that quite shocking.
Is this true? If so, what do you think is the cause of it?
I have seen a great deal of respect in Calgary towards those from other cultures. I am bothered by the fact that Calgary is viewed as being hostile.
Maybe they think that because you are a "cowboy" town . I've never heard that and I live in Edmonton. Although, there was a female politician saying (incorrectly) that people in Prince George are burning crosses on their lawns. Usually I just hear good stuff about all of Canada.
