american Revolution Summary Q&A
in a short summary can you compare the american revolution and the french revolution in violence??
please help!
its the only thing i need to finish my essay!
The French Revoultion was inspired by teh American revoultion, but the Frecench Revoultion was way more violents and bloody compared to that of the US. During the Reign of Terror, which lasted from July 1793 to July 1794, thousands of french people were killed using the guillotine. This was a machine cut of peopl's head. Basically if a person was not as Radical as Maximilien Robespierre he was beheaded. Robespierre was the ruler of France at the time of the reign of terror. He was eventually guillotined by his fellow revoultuionaires because they were afraid of him. Not many injustices like this happened in the American revoultion. The Boston Massacre was the only time when the British killed unarmed people.
