Why can't (in time) the public be banned from breeding dogs?
I think only REGISTERED dog breeders should be allow un-neutered dogs & bitches. The public should have licences and only be allow castrated or doctored animals, would save a lot of trouble with unwanted dogs. Do you agree with me? Also why does everything have to be discussed then dismissed because it doesn't suit a few awkward people. Peed off about that baby who got mauled
My cure would probably work if people didn't all think they are above the law.
Thankfully where I live this law already exists and works

What kind of dog should I get?
I'm looking to buy a dog. I prefer to buy from a licensed breeder instead of a home or animal shelter. I am a very active and could give my dog more than an hour of exercise each day. I would like a medium, large or extra large dog built as opposed to a Chihuahua and such. I prefer it medium to matenance low so you do not want a dog with a long coat, if possible. They do not want to be vicious, but I would love it if there were any such trends watchdog. Sorry if I'm being picky, but if you know which race suits me, then please let me know! All help appreciated. Also just so you know I have the intention to call it Jasper so if you know a breed that can adapt to that name ... let me know. LOL.
You should look to Germany pastors. Often used working dogs, German Shepherds are direct and fearless alert.Bold, cheerful, obedient and eager to learn. Known for their loyalty and courage tremedous. Calmy confident, but not hostile. Serious and very intelligent. They have a high capacity for learning. German Shepherds love to be near their families, but wary of strangers. Have a protective instinct very strong. This dog sounds right for you! Good luck and I hope that helped!
