Is there a free or very cheep vet to see in jackson county,Missouri?
I have 3 dogs, 1 wich is my cousins and we have been caring for the past few months due to the fact she has no place of her own. But we put out one of our dogs, the youngest since she gets into everything if shes not chained up or put in a cage, and got the animal controll called on us. she was in the rain and had no shelter, yah we know she should have had one but we are broke. im 17, my moms 45 and an RN nurse. she just quit her job because it was making her utterly misserable. shes trying to get a new one so right now we have NO money. is there a free or cheep vet clinic we can go to? it would help millions...
actually we do take good care of our dogs. they get food 3 times a day, water at almost all times, and more love then they can handle. we just cant afford the shots due to the economy and the prices of things.

How to get an Animal Welfare Act enforced?
I live in Missouri, and there are laws abandoned animals. This is a Class C misdemeanor Anyway, I live in a small city with little police, which are kind of lazy. Someone I know (details arent important) left his pregnant compared to the animal shelter because they do not want to deal with it. He left the shelter and left. The shelter posted an ad, trying to find the owner but the owner is passed off as you never saw, even the dog! It later gave birth to their puppies in the shelter. This person was irresponsible and should be held accountable. How I can call the police to enforce the law on this? They arent interested on the subject at all, but it's the law.
