can a dog get used to a new climate change, like if we were to move?
ok so i live in arizona and ill be finishing college soon and i already found a good job in seattle, wa. well i want to take something from my home town in az and ive volunteered at the animal shelter and there's an animal shelter not to far and i want to save a pet and get one there. but the only problem is that in washington the weather is so different from az so i dont want the dog to get stressed out. i want to get a young one so maybe they can adjust sooner, but i dont know, if i were to get a dog at a kill shelter and take it to another climate, will he or she adapt to it?
Animals are much more adaptable then us humans. Your dog will do fine. When you are hot, you drink plenty of fluids and you stay in the shade.. Give the same to your pet, plenty of fresh water. And keep him inside or in the shade. If he has a big, furry coat, you might want to trim it for the summer months.
And when you are cold, you will want to keep your dog warm too. A soft blanket or rug away from any drafts. And let his coat stay full for warmth.
That's it Simple. He will be fine. Especially with all your love that you'll give to your new friend.

Want to use my services for animals?
I I have 12 years. I would like to open my own animal shelter / boarding Center with my family. I want to know first if someone would use my services before you go through with it. First, it is in Washington, OK. So please only respond if it would really be able to use it. You can leave stray dogs ask me to encourage dogs and cats, come to see the animals for adoption, the animal board, I'm not sure if I want to do cleaning or not, but if you use it often then it probably would. I would say that your intentions are great, but should realize that in this world there are plenty of individuals who commit abuses kind services offered:. For example, most no kill shelters and animal rescues are full of people is giving up instead of dealing responsibly however, feels too guilty to take human society to know their chances of being adopted in the short time in their view are scarce. I expect that in a short time when you could be at or above capacity "stray dogs" in many cases were people who left the job in a dog that inadvertently jump someone for a scratched or chewed one too many times he was bored because you never practiced enough and destroyed a table legs too .... I recommend to be very cautious in accepting any street, there are medical risks, so, you should have a veterinarian that was very supportive of their cause because a slope could lead to parvo and infect many other dogs, would not be there the first time that someone had left a "parasite" it was the dog in the backyard who was sick and old dad would not pay the vet bill ... your intentions are great, I suggest you work with a local rescue during few years and learn to understand fully what would be needed and what local area and support services ... you will learn a lot in a few years and be very well prepared for what you are thinking ... plus think of all the animals that could help A and then from here: Big! point to learn as much as possible about training, if you want any dog is very desirable and easily placed, work on obedience training with him and you'll be surprised how quickly that a family is going to take a good dog behavior! good luck!
