Border collie or australian cattle dog mix?
i was looking to adopt one of these. the australian cattle dog is 6 months old and the border collie is 8 . do you know which is better with dogs and which is easier to train. i am not home all day so i would be gone 6 hrs a day mon-fri but i want your opinion?

These are two very different breed personalities. Both are smart, and both need plenty of exercise, and supervision. I would say that the BC would be better with other dogs, but there are exceptions. What ever breed you decide on, it might be a good idea to walk or somehow exercise your dogs before you go to work for 6 hrs. Offer the dog new challenges to learn every day.
