Bonding Exercises for my dog and me.?
ok, i just got a 6 week old australian cattle dog (it was the breeders decision to sell them at 6 weeks) and for some reason he seems to be the least bit interested in me... but he loves my siberian husky (who is a year old). Should i just let them bond? If not what can i do to make him like me? Thanks
You need to participate. The puppy is obviously missing his mum & thinks the husky is her. You need to start playing with him & give lots of love & attention. Your older dog will help you with the discipline bit as puppy grows up but you need to let him know you are the alpha in the pack.
