Should I be concerned that my dog humps stuffed animals?
He is a 3-month-old Jack Russell/Australian Shepherd. He mainly humps a Tickle-Me-Elmo plush toy. He has never tried to hump anyone's leg or anything. I know it's just a dominance issue, but I'm just wondering if there's any reason to be concerned about it and get him to stop.
That Q just reminded me of when my dog was a puppy; he had a duck friend, who he was only allowed play with outside
I wouldn't worry too much about it, at that age especially it can be very confusing for the puppy, and they need to work through it. And if he isn't going for peoples' legs I wouldn't be bothered about it at all. Just let him have his fun

can give you a stuffed dog?
i have large collections of soft toys that i had when I was younger. I do not want to throw away (I know, weird) and do not want to spend more money in plush toys for dogs. I was wondering if I took the eyes of the grain and sew it back together, could give my dog? is not messy (the toys) or plastic. all are made of cloth and stuffed it is for an Australian Shepherd
I think not ... because it was not meant to be chewed by a dog and if he (or she) tore and swallowed (ingested) cotton and other parts of the stuffed animal that could get all caught up in your digestive system and lungs, which would very bad.
