Are some mixed breed dogs worse than others? What is the stupidest mix bred on purpose you have seen?
Is it not as bad to mix dogs with a similar build/temperament and needs? Like two similar dogs bred together for a job? How can these breeders be kept in line- just by working the dogs and evaluating them? How do you choose a mixed breed dog that fits your needs- is it on an individual basis or can you guess what it will be like by looking at the parent breeds?
How about the ones that just should not exist- what is the worst possible mix you can think of? Have you ever seen a designer dog that made you think "How the hell are those supposed to mix?!"
I had found a list of "hybrids" recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club- they had Bulldog X Dachshund on there- that disgusted me a bit because they are built so differently.
Wolf anything. Wolves are not dogs, and they are not pets.
Aside from that, I think mixing any breed with drastically different skeletal structure is very odd. I'm not a fan of the "puggle", or anything mixed with a Daschund, except maybe the Corgi, due to similar spine and legs.

Is it good, bad or irrelevant when ...?
It's good bad or irrelevant as a breeder and rescue were not included prices for their puppies on their website or in an ad? When I see something that no price is announced (Product or service), which makes me think that I ever sold has a price so high that the seller does not think anyone is going to contact them if they know the actual cost. "These are valid for dogs: NOTE know the difference between a BYB and a good breeder, but this particular point was never discussed. No nasty comments please.
I would say irrelevant. Great breeders do not always list prices, then again some do>> makes them slippery than not, or what means their focus is Money>> no. I like to be told, I personally would not go to a breeder with a checkbook and write what he said without any figure in the talks / e-mails and visits>> if you think the price is too high i do not deny that I have to go somewhere else, better to ask in advance.
