does anyone know of a beagle breeder in new jersey?
i am looking for a beagle puppy and i live in south jersey.
I have researched beagles a lot before even looking inot getting a puppy.
i am vary wary of adopting a dog as i was attacked quite badly by a dog that had been rescued as a pup. i know that they are not all like this but i would jsut like to find a reputable breeder.

Beagles are constantly in rescue. Just go to Petfinders.com. they are there, all ages, all colors, all sizes. Please save a life instead of encouraging a back yard breeder. Between UNO winning and the movie "Underdog" those of us in rescue are bracing ourselves for the aftershock of this double whammy.
Have you researched the breed at all and are you prepared for life with a beagle, btw. No offence, just wary of a question like this!

Also find a dog training club near you.. they will have their pulse on responsible breeders in your area. The vet is another good resource as they will know who is a responsible breeder and who is not!
