I need to raise the perfect bernese mountain dog puppy, I'm getting him in 6 weeks and want to raise him right?

I want to make sure that my everyday behavior encourages him to be well behaved, I also have another dog who's decently well behaved.
He will be 8 weeks old, i have 6 weeks to wait till I get him.

This breed needs to be out with lots of people and dogs or their natural drive to be territorial is hard to live with.

Make sure you are buying from a RESPONSIBLE breeder who has health tested (OFA, CERF, vWD, cardiac and thyroid cert) their breeding adults. A poorly bred Bernese can cost you a fortune in medical bills.
