Blue Heeler/ Australian Cattle Dog Help!?
I have a Blue heeler, red heeler mix and she is one year old. We also have a male australian shepherd and he is one too. neither are fixed as we would like to have one litter of puppies. We only have one problem... she hasn't yet gone into heat. is it too late? will she go into heat soon?!? will she ever go into heat? please... any answers will be appreciated.

Some dogs are just late bloomers!! haha... She should go into heat soon. Make sure you keep them separated on her first heat- she shouldn't be bred till her second heat. After the puppies, get her spayed ASAP to prevent an accident and more puppies!
As well, she is at an increased risk of developing breast cancer and reproductive cancers as she goes through each heat.
That sounds like a really cool mix though!
