A few Questions About Puggles?
I'm from big dog families, but the dog i have now turned out to be on the slighter size from the corgi side of his family (other is blue heeler). He LOVES to play, but the bigger dogs tend to hurt him. So since my husband and i want to get another dog, we would think a smaller play buddy woulds be the best bet. I know NOTHING of smaller dogs but i fell in love with my friends puggle puppy. I need to know a few things
1. Do they have a napoleon complex like some little dogs Can have?
2. I'm outside a lot. and i was wondering if they like to be too playing Frisbee and stuff or fetch?
3. Do they have breathing problems form their pug side?
4. Easy to train?
5. WHAT do they look like as adults?
Could a puggle expert or owner please try to answer my questions to the best of their abilities? It would be appreciated
Because "puggles" are a "designer" breed (excuse me, but I hate the term...BARF!!!) they are basically glorified mutts. Because you can never have any guarantees with a mutt, you never know what you are going to get. Some puggles will have the napoleon complex, some will like to play fetch, some will have breathing problems, most pugs and beagles are not super easy to train, and there isn't a "breed standard" so you cannot be guaranteed what they will look like either...some may look more pug-ish while others are more hound dog looking!
