Blue Heelers Trainers Q&A
I made a mistake?
I have two 8 week old puppies one is a blue heeler and one a lab and when we first got them we allowed them to pretty much have run of the house but they are haveing a hard time working on house breaking(i know i can't expect them to be completly house broken for awhile ) But with some advice of a trainer we are starting to confine them to one room with a gate . well as expected they are not happy about it . Is there a way to help them with this transition ?
well the Blue heeler puppy (who we have had longer) is handleing this very well but the lab is breaking my heart
Heres a good routine that helps with house breaking
wake up bathroom break
eats bathroom break
plays bathroom break
make sure you give them plenty to play with in that one room. eventually they will come to see it as their den and will enjoy being in there. When you have time play with them.
