Is this a reputable Border collie breeder?
I got my first Border collie 7 years ago, and he was a great family/performance dog! I really want to get another Border collie because we retired him (he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia... if we were smart, we wouldn't have gotten from a back yard breeder) and I want to continue with dog sports.
So, I found this breeder... should I see if I could get a puppy from them? They're kind of expensive, but I've been saving up for a Border collie puppy for a bit...

I don't want to make the same mistake as last time... is this breeder reputable?
They do the proper health testing, are pretty picky about who gets dogs, have strong health guarantees, and the dogs are lovely dogs that look well cared for. The breeder clearly has a ton of experience with the breed and is VERY involved with the breed.
What bothers me, and this is personal opinion, is that they have 25 dogs, and I'm not sure that they are competing. The breeder's profile says that she competed until 2005 and now she lectures.
I just can't tell from the website and the pages load funny on my computer.
I'm not sure where I sit on breeding dogs just because they are good at Agility. Mutts are good at agility. My puppy mill dog is GREAT at agility. Herding and Working, yes, if the dogs are competing in herding and doing well, then I get it.
I guess I'd want to find out what kind of titles the breeding dogs have, or if they aren't titled, if they are active farming or working dogs that simply don't compete, but excel at it in practical application rather than competing application. Once I found that out, if it waws positive, then I'd wholeheartedly love a dog from this person, if I wanted a driven BC.
I don't think you are going to get an unhealthy dog from her. You will probably get a driven dog with a need for lots of work. A typical BC.
