Are there any local dog breeders around the Scottsdale-Tempe area? What type of dog and where do they sell?
Hi Everyone!
I went to a friend's house and they have a rabbit(I do too), 2 parakeets and a dog. The dog is either a Border Collie or just a plain Collie. Anyway, she was so nice and adorable-she didn't harm any of the other pets! My friend bought her from a breeder and I want to know three things.
1.Are puppies that come from breeders healthy?
2. Is it a good idea to buy a puppy from a breeder? Why or Why not?
3. I only want to know the location of breeeders that breed Yorkshire Terriers(Yorkies), Collies, Border Collies, and maybe Maltese.(The reason I am picky is because I know these breeds of dogs won't hurt my adorable rabbit)

If you want a healthy puppy from a good breeder, look at those websites. Good breeders are registered with one of those clubs.
If you think a dog isn't going to hurt your rabbit, think again. Keep the rabbit in a cage. My dogs are a Toy Poodle and Miniature Poodle/Schnauzer mutt, and both would LOVE to chase the rabbits in the neighborhood. In fact, if you tell any of those breeders that you know for a fact that those breeds won't hurt a rabbit, they probably won't want to sell to you.
Now, if you can't afford a well bred puppy, you can rescue an adult dog. http://petfinder.com/

Are there terrier rescue centers in England?
Im looking for a rescue center as I terriers specifically after a border terrier and I would like to have a rescue dog instead of a breeder. Anyone know of any?? Thanks
