Interesting?? My 1 yr. old Boston Terrier is 32lbs.?
He is not 'fat' in the least bit, matter of fact, he is very fit.
People say that this breed is 'big' at 28 lbs. normal is 18-25?
He is AKC and there is not one doubt that he isn't purebred.
He has been on a raw diet since he was 5 months old, and I only feed him 1/2 lb. a day. He also gets fruit and such for snacks too.
I wonder if animals that are on raw diets grow bigger? anyone out there have experience with this?
I am not worried about it in the least bit BTW
Did you meet his parents?
He may very well be purebred, just that his parents weren't bred to AKC standards when it comes to the weight.
I've seen quite a range of size with this breed, and many other small breeds. Doesn't make one any less of a purebred than the other, of course.

Anyone out there race Boston Terrier?
I recently got an AKC registered Boston man and I'm looking for a AKC / CKC female reproduction. How much on average is a good price to charge by the offspring of parents like mine? And also, what price should I hold out studies of male AKC? * * Thnx
Man has been a recent CERF (http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.or ... BAER (http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.or ...) and the patella (http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.or ...) check OFA? It is also a good idea to have hip dysplasia and marked for the backbone of any Hermivertebrae (http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.or ...) All these health problems are congenital in Boston Terriers. Like many champions behind him in his pedigree? If he does not come from a long list of champions that have been tested for this, and has the desired structure by the breed standard (http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.or ...), worthless as a stud. Sorry if this does not may be what you want to hear, but nobody ***** with a calf value will be interested in a man if he is unable to convey his good health and appearance. It Otherwise, they will do more than people with backyard puppy mill race or produced pets who want to raise your child. Surely that is not what you want to perpetuate ... Join your local Boston Terrier Club, meet a long time, reputable breeders and find a helpful mentor to help you understand the breed and help to improve the breed over all.
