Boxer Dogs?

I wanted to get a Boxer Puppy for my family. Currently, it is my husband, daughter (4 yr old), and myself. Eventually we'll have a baby around. We also have a 1 yr old cat. (tabby)

Can anyone with a Boxer let me know if you think this is the right dog for my family?

I did research online and it says that they are good with kids and small house pets, but I would like real life feedback.

Boxers are great dogs. They are good with people, but I don't know about cats. I'm sure it's possible to get a boxer that's good with cats. Check on petfinder.com. Here's a link for a search I did on baby boxers in Miami:

Boxers and Rottweilers, I'm thinking about getting a puppy next year. Now, the type of dogs that pass as boxers these days is just ridiculous. On one side is the dogs well cared for, huge, as they have been crossed with mastiffs English, others are so small they seem to Boston .... T I do not know, but maybe is best for me or to do research, as they have done extensive research, and I settle for the two races)
