How do you find a reputable boxer dog breeder?
I'm looking for a breeder of boxer dogs that is not a puppy mill. I want info on their dogs health before I purchase a dog.
Try adoption first! There are THOUSANDS of homeless boxers in the country, of all ages. A sweet, gorgeous boxer puppy named Bob was put down at the place I volunteer at today (CT Humane Society). I was crushed. He apparently had a "nipping" problem. At eleven months old, this shouldn't be a shock to anyone.
Please consider adopting a dog rather than going to a breeder or pet store (props for staying away from puppy mills).
