i just asked a Q about the best kind of dog to get for my situation....
and it's looking like boxer may be a good fit. about how much do they run?
any current owners have any input, funny stories, suggestions, anything???

about how much do they weigh full grown??

I have two boxers myself. I also rescued another one from our high kill shelter.He lives now with my father in law. Before he had this boxer, he had a different boxer all his live. I know a lot of ppl with boxers and I just LOVE that breed.

ecause of thier smuched faces. They can be so loud that you cant sleep.
Boxers fart a lot and it can stink up your whole house.
Boxers lick a lot.You might like it but your guests wont. I have friends who dont like to come to my house cause my boxers will lick them.They like dogs but hate having those slobby big tounge on thier faces.lol...
Boxers slober a lot also. I have to clean my walls where they eat cause I have slobber and foot pieces on there.
Boxer HATE being alone. They NEED to be with human.They can get really sick and chew up so much stuff when left alone.My friends dog chewed up 3 couches in just 6 months.
Boxers are one of a kind dogs. Boxers have thier own play style .They play a lot with thier front feet.Besicly they box. Not all of the other dogs like it and they can start a fight.
BUT, if you can handle all of this, you will get the best friend ever.
Boxers are very inteligent. They learn quick. They love the training. They love being with you.If you are happy, sad, they are there. They LOVE kids. They are loyal to thier owners. My girl wont leave my side if we are somehwere else.She will just stay right next to me.
Boxers kidney bean. Which means they will basicly touch nose with tail and walk like this to you when they are happy...Boxers talk back to you.Yes it calles wooo- wooo ...lol..its not barking, its talking.
There is so much fun with them.
But of course you have to know that boxers are known for having cancer. So if you really want to get a boxer puppie, please dont take one from a pet shop, BYB etc...find you a GOOD rep.Breeder who breeds chamipions and all his dogs are tested.

edit: my one boxer is a runt and she is 46 pounds and 2 years old.She is very samll for her breed. My friend has her brother and he is 75 pounds.My other boxer is 57 pounds .She is 1 year old.
