i want another dog???
i have a cairn/jack russell terrier mix. she is almost 11 months old, but recently i've been wanting to get a boxer puppy.
i love boxers, my uncle had one since he was a puppy and he lived until he was 13 and had to be put to sleep (R.I.P. spike) he was a gentle giant.
so i was wondering if 2 dogs are too much work, i will transferring universities soon, i'm a freshman now. im moving to california for college so my parents, siblings and dog are staying in florida till i get my bachelors (3 more years) then they move with me to cali, should i wait till all that is settled to get my boxer?? i don't want it to be unstable, like me leaving and then coming back for summer and winter break and then leaving again.
Right now, you're in a busy situation. It's going to be a lot of stress for you and the dogs if you transfer, get out a lot, and do what you wanna do. I think you should settle down, and when you're sure enough - enough to not ask anybody if you want to get another dog - you should get another dog.
Two dogs could bring hell.
