Boxer Puppy Housebreaking Q&A
6 Month old Lab advice?
My mother had a 6-month-old choc. Lab puppy that she could not care for anymore due to my dad’s health. I have adopted the puppy now; I had to put down my boxer puppy a few weeks ago and decided to take this puppy
I have never owned a Lab and know nothing about them...He is very smart, housebroken, and very laid back, almost seems lazy...I have stairs up to my house he will go down them, but will not attempt to come up. He will fetch, but he will walk not run to whatever I have thrown. He has had a vet check up and all shot, very healthy. I had always heard Labs will chew on everything, we have never seen this in him.
Can someone give me advice or information on labs? Tips?? Anything will help.
O.k. first of all you have to have food , water and collar leash and tags (duh) Also toys , and maybe a chew bone . Labs are very good animal and I luv `em . If the vet says she is healthy , she may just be tired , because she is adjusting to the house and other things we may not know of.

Boxer Puppy Housebreaking Q&A
My boxer dog?
I have a boxer and I have been trying to housebreak for some time. when it pees on the floor I say "NO" in a harsh tone. I do not spank but I touch on it in the nose after taking the outside. She usually finishes her business out there and pat me and say things like "Good Girl" and then give a gift to go out. I want to know how to scratch at the door when it is ready to go. Also I have puppy pads around, but I can not get to use those either. However, my other dog has no problem with this and that the scratches on the door when she has to walk. How I can get my boxer to do that too? She is about 9 months old. I carry it out several times a day. Also I have to take it out on a leash, she can not roam on their own until we have the fence fixed.
You can buy bells that hang on the door at most pet stores. Just make your bells ring before going off and not give treatment for ringing the bells. Just tell him it's a good girl and deal with it when used outside the bathroom.
