Help with figuring out the breed of my dog?
When we adopted Max the rescue told us he was a Pit Bull/ Boxer/ American Bulldog. The vet never told us otherwise but we recently saw a picture of a stratford terrier that looked identical to him. Just wanted to know what anybody else thought?
I have recent pictures of him as well as a puppy picture. Thanks to everyone for helping!

AAAWWWEEE!!!!! He's so adorable. He reminds me of MY Max!! All the breeds you mentioned are VERY similar. He's definatly a mix of one of those and probably more than one. He's too tall to be either a pure Staffordshire or a Pitt, and his muzzle is a smidge to narrow for an american bulldog, and too narrow and too long for a boxer. All of those breeds are excellent dogs and will a make terrific companion. To me he looks most overall like an American Bulldog for what it's worth.
