What kind of dog should I get?
We have to put our family pit bull to sleep today because she bit my brother. She was our only guard dog, because we have 2 other chihuahuas. I was thinking about getting the following dog;
Anatolian Shepherd (Have always wanted one!)
Great Pyrenees (Also always wanted!)
German Shepherd
Or a Puppy from the shelter.
I want a big dog. I just LOVE big dogs! So it doesn't have to be a guard dog, it just has to sound big and mean. To scare people away, yah know? Maybe a great dane..Yeah..Maybe 
Also, do you know any breeders of the above dogs in houston, TX? ^.^ Please tell me the pros and cons of these dogs too.
It doesn't matter what kind of dog you get - they are all great.
I would suggest going to the shelter and you can find an adult or puppy and save the poor animal.
When my pedigree German Shepherd (14 years old) died I decided to save a dog. Instead I saved 2 dogs.
My smallest one is 89 lbs and the larger one is 103 lbs. Both are wonderful big watchdogs and pretty, too.
