English Bulldogs, just a few questions.?
I asked this before, but only got one answer.
I Have school from 8-3. I will probably adopt a dog or puppy from the shelter, but how much would a pet be from a responsible breeder be on average in BC Canada. I want a dog that i can play with, but one that isn't going to want to go run around every second of the day.I'm gone a while on weekdays, so are they okay to be alone for a part of the day. Any other information that i left out just let me know in your answer, and I will add it.

I don't know about Canada, but in the U.S. they are around $3,000 to $4,000. I don't know how much you know about this breed, but they are a genetic nightmare.
1. Eye problems: Entropian ( eyelids roll in causing the hair to rub against the eyeball causing ulcers and extreme pain. ) Only one of several.
2. Skin problems: Yeast infections, allergies, and more.
3. Heart problems: Heart murmer, enlarged heart, valve defects.
4. Mouth and jaw problems.
5.Respiratory problems.
6. Structural problems: Hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, luxating patella (knee), arthritis & joint problems.
7. Urinary and reproductive problems: Urinary tract infections, bladder infections, pyometra ( infection of uterus ), prolapsed urethra.
The list goes on. Be ready to spend thousands on this dog. They are usually very friendly and affectionate I must say. They are energetic dogs. I don't consider any breeder of this dog to be responsible. These dogs don't even mate the natural way, they have to be artificially insiminated, and all the births are C sections. This is because people have created this.
I think your best bet would be to adopt a mix from a shelter.

Is there such thing as a school for dog breeding?
The women know that i will be taking my American Bulldog male later in the summer say they are in school for dog breeding and there, basically, to become a licensed dog breeder .. when I texted him and asked where they go and what to do to become a "breeder license" that stopped sending text messages so I'm a bit confused and I'm starting to believe she did this ... I live in Ontario, Canada on the road. Thanks
It is full of garbage. There are no schools for breeding. Schooling is ONLY to be taken after receiving his Ph.D. in veterinary science, can specialize in reproduction. Do NOT send your dog to a lie, misleading waste of space.
