Why can't i find a Cairn Terrier Breeder anywhere near me?
i've been searching everywhere online and i can't seem to find any. i thought such a crowded place like the NYC would have so many but no such luck. where do i find breeders other than on the internet? also i've been checking petfinder for some cairns but none are near me....
did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed? O_O i'm just a teen thats trying to help out my parents to find one
i have googled, thank you. i just don't know how to tell if someone is trustable these days

AKC breeders usually have you sign a spay/neuter contract on "pet quality" puppies. Some breeders may charge over $1,000 for a "pet quality" dog on a spay/neuter contract, which I think is a ripoff, even if the litter does have champion bloodlines.
I'd suggest for you to check Petfinder, but it look like you've already done that. Have you tried Pets911?
If you're planning on spaying or neutering your new puppy, then exhaust all adoption options... shelters dogs generally have had all their shots and are already spayed or neutered. Be warned that some shelters jump the gun and spay or neuter puppies before six months (which is too young and could result in problems later on).
