Does anyone have websites of chihuahua breeders in Houston, TX?
looking for a female chihuahua. Anyone know of any breeders in the Houston, TX area?
I will take a puppy or fullgrown, but I want a female for breeding. And to give her a great home as well!
Please don't get a dog just to breed.
Any respectable breeder worth their salt will also require you to sign a contract to spay or neuter your pet, especially if they don't believe you capable of responsibly breeding one of their dogs (as breeding takes time, money, work, vet assistance, and lots of know how).
You can look for breeders through these sites:

http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com/ (This site will give you information, breeder referral, and rescue referrals)
Petfinder.com and your local dog pound are great places to look as well.
Remember a show quality puppy from a reputable breeder is generally $1,000 at the lowest. Due to smaller litter sizes Chihuahuas cost more, and they seem to sell at about the $2,000 range. If a puppy is not show quality it is pet quality and that means not breeding quality. Pet quality dogs should always come with a mandatory spay or neuter contract.
