Pocket Puggle?
Looking into purchasing another dog. I used to own a chihuahua. Before settling in on the same breed, I wanted to look into some others. Possibly interested in pocket puggle. Any valuable info about their size, temperment, etc would be appreciated

No such thing as a pocket pug/beagle mix. No reputable breeders sell mixed breed dogs. Your best bet is a shelter. I got two pug/beagle mixes from shelters as puppies. There is no consistency between the two, since they are mixed. One is 15 lbs, the other is 25... size-wise, the smaller one is half the size of the larger. One is completely psychotic (growling at things that aren't there, extreme anxiety in public places, etc), while the other is just a normal dog.
Obedience can be difficult because of their beagle side, and should never be left off leash... once they catch a scent they sometimes don't even respond to their own names. Highly food motivated, but can easily become overweight.

A good place to start is the Chihuahua Club of America. They will help you find a responsible breeder in your area. The site also has lots of good information on chihuahuas. http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com not just buy based on price. Dogs too Flights are often spoiled, and have health problems that will cost much more in the long term. A responsible breeder has tested the health of both parents and be more likely to sell healthy puppies.
