is there any way to tell if puppies or kittens are from breeders or mills?
there is a small pet store that i usually go to instead of petsmart or petco because i know the large chains ALWAYS buy from mills..in the smaller pet shop they have several (4 or 5, the number varies) kittens for sale. no dogs though..they also have rabbits, fish, finches, and chinchillas. how high is the likelyness theyre from a mill? the store is called all for the pet and theres a link to the website if that helps: http://www.allforthepetstore.com/index.htm
so i really dont like supporting mills. they have very few chinchillas right now (only 1) and about 3 or 4 rabbits. if i were to get a chinchilla it would probably be from there..(unless its a mill!!)
so is there any way to tell?
no spammers or trolls like rabbit f'er...its annoying and i dont really see how its funny..

Maybe ask where they get there animals.
I know my local pet store buys SOME animals from local breeders (such as their guinea pigs), and then I have been told that the rest are ordered and come in... Wasn't told this: But most likely they come from mills.
Just check with the store owners. If they give you company names that the animals come from, go home and do a search on the company or breeder. It's fairly easy to spot a mill when you know what to look for. Breeders handle their animals with care, with only health in mind, not profit.

Ferret or chinchilla cage for sale?
My chinchilla needs a new cage, you can not find anywhere online. My mom is not going to last long to be reduced to Pet Supplies In addition, Petco and PetSmart. It has to be in Missouri however. I am looking for large cage, and with 4 levels. Preferably, the wooden ramps (my chinchilla chews on ramps plastic), also on the rolls and about 32 inches. long (including rollers) and 16 inches. wide. On the other hand, can not be in a somewhat repulsive good. Sorry to be so specific, that's what my mom is saying. If you have one or know where to get one like this in Missouri, I know. Thanks -. Furthermore, the prices and range from about $ 150 to $ 200.
