What is climate like in Vancouver?
I'm thinking about moving to Vancouver. Right now I live in Edmonton,AB. I don't even mind the climate here. But I don't really like the city, it doesn't have a "spark" I'm looking for. I've been to Vancouver once, and I love it. I would so want to move there. But I've been told that it rains a lot.
I have moved to Canada from Ireland (just four years ago) I have moved from there because it rained so much that I was sad and depressed all the time. And I'm afraid that if I move to Vancouver the same will happen. So what is the climate like in Vancouver. Does it really rain so much? If you ever been in Ireland,is it similar?
People told me that in Vancouver it can rain for couple of days. But I say that in Ireland it rains for couple of weeks or even months. Now I even laugh that in Ireland it rained for 370 days a year 
im irish but live in vancouver now. They are similar, although Vancouver tends to have much nicer summers with a lot less rain than Ireland. Summer seems to last longer too.
In winter, Vancouver gets a little bit colder than in Ireland but similar in that there isnt usually much snow (if any) and when it does snow it only lasts a few days. There is snow on the mountains though. I find that the winters in Van are a little wetter than Ireland too, but the summers more than make up for it.
