Cocker Spaniel Dog Breeders Q&A

how to find legit dog breeders in uk?

Looking to buy a Cocker Spaniel but just wondering how you check that the breeder is legit and nothing dodgy is going on. Should they have some sort of certificate?

I suggest you contact the Kennel Club who should be able to tell you if the breeder is authorised and registered.
I don't know how the dogs' pedigree document can be checked for being official, but there must be a way.
