Does anyone know a good Great Dane breeder in Colorado or Utah?
I am looking for a reliable breeder and want to be sure to avoid puppy mills I am having a hard time with finding a puppy at a rescue most are older dogs and I want to start out with a puppy for my son.

Hello! Is there anyone out there know of any reputable breeders Great Dane in Colorado (or possibly a neighboring state)? If you do, or any other resource, please let me know. I have found a few places online, but nobody seems to have a current litter or are playing more. Thanks ...
Finding a breeder puppy online websites is not a good way to find a responsible breeder. Go to site and view DGAC breeder list and get a list of clubs Great Dane near you .. contact them. Go to the AKC site for a list of Kennel Club in your state and contact them. Attend some shows and meet people Dane. Finding a good responsible breeder who breeds Dane breed standard, health (genetic testing not just simple vet exams ... OFA on hips, thyroid and heart and eyes CERF), longevity breeds and temperament and a breeder who carefully investigates the genealogies. http://www.gdca.org http://www.akc.org Most good, responsible breeders have a waiting list for puppies, so you would not usually so easy to go to a breeder now and get a puppy now (unless of course, go to one of the irresponsible breeders). Most responsible breeders do not always have puppies either.
