What is the size of the food pieces in Blue Buffalo adult dog food? Is it suitable for small dogs?
I currently have my dogs on Blue Buffalo Small Breed and would like to buy a bag of the adult Chicken & Brown Rice recipe (that is the only kind sold locally and they need some NOW). I am unsure of whether I should buy it though because I don't know how big the pieces are compared with the small breed formula. My smallest dog is a 4 pound Yorkshire Terrier, who I am most concerned about. I also have a 10 pound Maltese and a 20 pound mixed terrier. Does anyone use this food that could tell me what the piece size is?

I am feeding Blue Buffalo Organic Chicken and Brown Rice. The kibbles are triangular-shaped flat pieces approx. 1/2 inch at the longest parts. The food also has round "life source bits" that are very small round pellets that are about the size of pearl tapioca (smaller than a green pea). I have an elderly dog that eats this food after loosing some teeth. The thin kibbles are easy to eat. You can also add some warm water to soften the food. It will swell, but be squishy.

Dog breed happy to live in an apartment?
I am researching what breed of dog are opting for. I quite possibly living in an apartment and going to work a normal day at 9-5. I'm there so much interest in find a race less prone to separation anxiety and one that will not be unhappy to wait for a ride until I'm home. When I'm home, be happy to walk the dog to say two walks 40 minutes a day ... One in the moring and one in the evening ... I see that the fight against big dogs seem to be intuitively exercise needs relatively low compared with the smaller "half" cousins ... Given my circumstances would be appropriate for me to choose one race as a Great Dane (an example extream but you see my point ...)
