Directory Of Breed Of Dogs Q&A
Anyone been taken in when looking for a puppy?
Beware of scammers now operating on this forum by offering you a puppy or a kitten. The latest say they are "a catholic breeding house " with ID's like "missionhouse" but it is believed this is a cameroon based organisation that has been doing the rounds of various web sites advertising puppies and kittens. If you go to them you will lose your money ! See links below that highlight their type of posts. NOTE: This organisation is NOT based in the UK, as they are currently claiming. It is easy to tell by the poor grammar and spelling that they are not English. Buyer beware !

As I have said in so many of my answers on `pets` never ever buy a puppy until you can see pup with its Dam or Sire which would mean a visit to the breeders house also to see what conditions pup is being brought up in. Also you will want to see KC Pedigree chart. Other
than that go to a good rescue centre - there are enough dogs to look at . The only drawback to this is that you do not know how dog will turn out - it is cruel to take a dog only to find out that it does not suit you and you return to shelter only for poor dog to try out another
owner and so on and so on !!!. Anyone buying `on line` wants their
brains testing .

Directory Of Breed Of Dogs Q&A
Australia kelpie not bark a lot?
I'm thinking of getting an Australian Kelpie. They are not found anywhere but Australia. Hence the name!
So .. I would like the people of Australia to respond: P Thanks! And .. Kelpies are good with kids and other dogs and cats? Here is a picture of the color I want: http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/breeds/images/1100019.jpg Thanksgiving! - Lots love, Alei! Woofy!
I am an Australian and they do bark, but only if you get bored, and if not exercised properly. It takes at least one hour of exercise a day and a constant attention, not for you if you are working a change 9-5. How does depends on how well they are trained, is not a race thing.
