i want to get a dog.. where do i find a breeder?
I really would like to get a shetland sheepdog (sheltie).. but i can't seem to find anyone near me that breeds them. What is a good way to find a breeder and how do you know if they are trustworthy?
btw i'm in louisiana if that helps at all

Even if the people on the list don't have a litter coming, they can probably refer you to someone who does.

silver labs, again .. ?
i know people say they are not real, but they are beautiful dogs! some say they are mixed with a weimaraner, some do not say. i however, say they are not. by Please, if anyone knows of any breeders of silver labs, and have slver lab puppies available, please let me know. going to lead anywhere the state of Texas and Louisiana, and in parts of Oklahoma. Even Alabama and Georgia. Please help, and keep negative comments to himself rude please! Silver labs there, I've seen one in person. That is a variation of chocolates as states AKC! by Dances With Lead and frames! And you can also say whatever you like Leigh, but they are real! if mixed with a Weim. Why DNA tests say they are not, eh? Look, who comes into contact with ALL of my posts with smiley face gray is a smart a * s know-it-all, why not try it? do you think you know everything anyway!

You can say what you want, but I think the club of the breed and a reputable breeder who has obviously studied genetics laboratories. If you like that color .. Why not get a weimaraner? The silver had to be introduced somewhere .. are not purebreds. Go to your local shelter if want the bad quality .. many of the laboratories there. ADDED AKC Just because I could not go back to when the "silver" colored wine. Mutts are INBRED. And you will not find a reputable breeder of them! He said I do NOT get all your messages. DID proove that .. I posted information on the breed club, which is what determines what defines a laboratory (AKC does not decide what a laboratory is the breed club does), and have also published information from someone who has obviously researched The genetic "DNA" evidence NO proove that a dog is purebred. Not one of them is no guarantee that a dog is purebred! They do not even accurate in determining breed a dog! There are dogs that are purebred KNOWN, or mixing one knows who has been tested and received the inaccurate results! The unique "DNA" test AKC which is basically a paternity test .. to verify that the father of a dog is .. works the same way as a paternity test for a human baby. AND ADDED there is nothing in the AKC site on labs anyway. "Demand" on AKC is only found in a breeder's website sucks.
