Also, I have looked for breeders through akc's parent club and have only found a few in my area, so please don't tell me to go search online. I have been! I want to buy from a quality breeder, not some BYB or a puppy mill.

I would also be into a purebreed rescue organization in this area too. I'm not picky about this dog being a puppy, an adult dog is fine (even a senior, but I'm not sure how happy the dog would be with my other dogs who are still young)

Also, I have search petfinder.com already, but I can't travel as far down south as most of those dogs are, and I don't feel comfortable bringing a dog that i've never met into my home (with my son and other pets), so I won't ship it.
