Help convince my parents?
I want to get a dog, and my parents always say no. My parents always look at the bad side of dogs and never the good side. I found a dog breeder farm in MN and i want to get a golden retriever puppy. How can i earn money for the dog, and how can i convince my parents to let me get one? I've tried the whole "ill take care of it all by my self" thing but they think their going to end up being the ones that take care of it anyways. Help!

If your parents don't want a dog, then it doesn't look like you'll be getting one. In a way, you have to agree with them; they WILL be the ones who end up paying for everything. They will end up paying for vet care, food, training equipment etc. You may have enough to initially purchase the dog, but do you have a stable job and some spare income to care for the dog throughout its whole life?
It is very unfair to bring an animal into a home where it is not wanted by everyone. It will end up being ignored and forgotton about and will become unruly and destructive. When training a pup, EVERYONE must be consistant and willing to do their fair share.
The very last place you want to be getting a puppy from is from a puppy farm! They are horrible, disgusting places. Dogs are kept in horrendous conditions and are constantly bred from. A puppy farm dog will stand a very high chance of being very sickly. If your parents do let you have a dog, please find a reputable breeder or go to your shelter!
