Samoyed Puppy Adoptions?
my friend just got a puppy yesterday from Shake A Paw. I've wanted a dog for so long. Apperently my parents have been looking and trying to find 1. We really want a Samoyed puppy around 6 weeks old and maybe an older 1 also. (like an 8 year old or around there) but we can't find any. We need somewhere in New Jersey or Pennsylvania. we would even go to New York if we had to. Are there any places like Yuppy Puppy or Shake A Paw?? we contacted a breeder and they haven't responded yet. but please help!!! if we can find one we can get it this weekend!!!

- A 6 week old puppy is too young to be away from its mother and littermates, they need to be at least 8 weeks old before being sent to new homes.
-Shake a Paw and Yuppy Puppy are appalling markets for puppy mill puppies. They WILL have medical or behavioral difficulties, and WILL be incredibly substandard specimens and your money WILL go to allow people to abuse the dogs that produce these puppies (which live out their lives in small cages in filthy conditions and appallingly substandard care). Never ever ever ever buy from any pet store or broker, ever. No one who cares about the puppies they produce would allow them to be sold to people they don't know and haven't personally selected.
- While it is great you want to adopt, young purebred puppies are very rarely available from rescues, since reputable breeders wouldn't put their pups in rescue and disreputable breeders are only concerned with making money, not finding good homes for the puppies. So, if you want a rescue, expect to be looking at older puppies and young adults at the youngest. - Responsible breeders don't have puppies 'right now'. They screen homes carefully and have them lined up before the breeding even occurs. So expect to be added to a waitlist. If you feel you must have a puppy, this is the way to go.
