Breeders for Stud Dog Owners?
I have a four year old Polish Tatra Sheepdog, and I have been interested in breeding him for some time now. His breed of dog is one of the rarest breeds in North America and I would love to see the breed grow in popularity, But I also believe that he would improve the breed.
Bruin was born in Canada then taken down to Idaho. He has had various check ups and was bred out of purebred respectable parents.
Now I've searched for willing breeders to breed Bruin with, but I haven't had much luck because the bred is rare, so are willing breeders. I have looked at Sirefinder.com but I don't feel that this would help find us a breeder.
So any advise and tips, or any willing breeder out there? I don't mean to increase the population of dogs when here are perfectly fine dogs in shelters, or breed Bruin over and over again, nor am I in it for the money.
EDIT// Hes a great dog, with calm temperment. His breed is rather protective of the ones he knows and cares for.
I personally don't recognize this dog as an AKC breed, but of it is, check the AKC website, and the breed club for this breed for prospective dame's to breed with.
