These two Paps are considered to have the ideal Papillon head:

You can go to the following site for more examples:
http://www.papilloninformation.com/pictures.htm

On the above site, you will see a good profile of a Papillon showing that the head should not be domed like a Chihuahua's nor should the muzzle be sloped. The muzzle should have an abrupt stop.

The size varies greatly within the standard. Anything from 8-11" is ideal. If you take a sheet of paper, you can turn it one way to show you 8" and the other to show you 11". This will give you a general idea.

At my house, I have everything from 8" 3.5 lbs) to 12" (9 lbs) and everything in between. It's a huge difference. No matter what, the Papillon must be dainty and refined.

As color goes on the body, it doesn't matter. As a breeder I strive to keep it around 60% white and 40% color. Some breeders prefer solid white bodies while most pet owners like the body to have a lot of color. I don't give it much consideration.

Dog Breeders Papillon Q&A

I have some tips for that dog to get.?

I'm looking papillon-Pomeranian breeders today to try to find the right dog for me. I love both breeds and get two puppies isn't an option. I only know how breasts and poms are due to the investigation, but never says the wrong benefits. I also want to know what you think is a better pet. I'm the both cost and am willing to spend as much as the dog needs. All I want to know is that race that I think is a better pet-social, affect, and housetrainingly wise. I know people who have these breeds, but do not know that dogs also. Any personal experience with the races that you could tell me would be great! Thanks!

My aunt has a Pomeranian. Dogs are very sweet and very loyal. My aunt has raised them as well. All her puppies have sweet pomeranians. Pomeranians are very energetic, sometimes so they are perfect for playing and stuff. They are also very intelligent. I trained very fast too. I hope that helped ... m
