Dog/cat selling permit in San Diego, CA?
So my family and I run a pet shop here in San Diego, CA and was just wondering what is required to obtain a license to sell dogs/cats and where we can find reputable breeders.
All info will be appreciated and thanks in advance!
I think you have to go thru the USDA to sell live animals. I may be wrong about that but I think anyone selling them commercially has to be licensed and inspected by them. As far as finding reputable breeders who will let you seel your animals there.......well as a reputable breeder, I would not sell my pups to a -pet store. I want to be the one who decides where my pups will go. I want to meet the prospective owners and be allowed to approve their new homes. I love my puppies too much to allow them to just be sold to anyone that walked into a pet store with the money to buy one.
