Dog Breeders Queensland Australia Q&A
Samoyed owners!? 10 points best answer?
I reaaaally want to buy a Samoyed puppy from a breeder after christmas time when my boyfriend gets home, and I'm wondering if any owners have opinions??
I live in Australia so it's a pretty hot climate, but I read that they're okay here (in Queensland), plus it would be inside all the time, and we're air conditioned and ventilated. I already own 2 cocker spaniels (they wouldn't be living with the sammie, different house) so I'm used to looking after pretty high-spirited outside dogs. I'm hoping to get the sammie for an inside dog, I don't have a huge yard but we have a dog park right near our house and it'd be my boyfriend's daily jogging partner also.
Any concerns I should have or things I should know about??
Thanks!
If you are dedicated, you can do it. Sammy has a double coat which will shed seasonally and during the hot summer months you'll have to be extra careful with your dog as they are extremely prone to heat stroke, but if you follow common sense rules I think you will be just fine.
Good luck! These are outstanding dogs.

Dog Breeders Queensland Australia Q&A
average price of a beagle with papers?
hey I'm looking for a purebred beagle tricolor and was wondering how much I'm looking papers (i DotNes you race, you just want to make sure it is a race pure) I think I'm looking for around $ 800 minimum (I think) ... doesn't even have to have papers, jst have to come from a breeder. And how I can check around to a breeder to make sure he / she is a legit licensed breeder with good healthy dogs. (Nrth Queensland Townsville Australia) Thanks ... thanks in advance for reply ... xx thanks for all your replies, I just said $ 800 because all the local papers that prices had "papers, many b / lines, the owners of view (<- Do not know what that means) "so yeah .. sorry only in confusion. I just want a companion, I have two cats and a ridgeback X Arabic bull (12 weeks) so thanks xx
The work could not be important to you, but if you have a healthy dog, purebred and deal with a reputable breeder are important to you .... then the dog will have roles. Not sure about Australia, but in the U.S. not all breeders are allowed. In fact, Breeders usually BAD is licensed, as are required by law, as they sell so many puppies per year. reputable breeders generally do not have licenses. This is a great article about finding a good breeder, breeder http://members.tripod.com/antique_fcr/goodbreeder.html found this site through the Beagle Club Site of Queensland, and have a litter planned for early November. http://www.dogs.net.au/orobaybeagles/ Here are some of the more breeder listings: http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/ ~ culorgair / beagleclubqld / breeders.html Add: In general the paper is not a good place to look for dogs, are usually of BYBs. Try breeder lists linked above.
