Dog Breeders Rights Q&A
Does a dog breeder have the right to advertise a dog that they no longer own?
There is nothing in the contract that that states the breeder has the right to advertiste. The new owner does not want the dog advertised.
What do you mean by advertised? I have a lot of pups I produced on my website that I do not own. But the owners of my dogs are proud to have them there. I would respect an owners wishes if they did not want their dog on my site.
I do not use the owners last names or put their town with the picture unless it is a show dog and they don't mind.
