Dogo Argentino Breeders in the Western US?
Hello, I've been searching and searching for reputable and responsible breeders near and around California. I found one (Rankin's of San Antonio, TX) that sounded like a good breeder, but the website says he's not having any litters now. I've also been finding a few breeders that charge over $2,000, and unfortunately I could only afford around $1500 or less. Also, I'm not looking for a hunting/show dog, but a companion/pet Dogo.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll take any suggestions, it seems like I keep running into dead ends.

Well I would definately say that if Rankin's sounds good then its probably best to wait it out. You really REALLY need to pay close attention to the breeder. Especially if your looking for a show dog.
Buy a dog shouldn't be something you rush into. You also shouldn't automatically buy the first dog that you see.
