P.S. They don't allow people who have children under 10 yrs old adopt

Hi there, try searching on some of these websites:

http://www.puppysites.com/

http://puppydogweb.com/caninebreeds/

http://www.dogup.com/breeds.html

http://www.breedersclub.net/

http://www.petfinder.org

http://adopt-a-yorkie.1-800-save-a-pet.com/

http://adopt-a-maltese.1-800-save-a-pet.com/

Hope that the links help & that some of the rescue places have a different policy to that of the SPCA ... children under 10 can be dog friendly!
